SIDELINE PROJECT

SJEB FC SIDELINE PROJECT COURSE

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to partner with Girls Academy and Soccer Parenting for a club-wide competition for parental completion of the 15-minute course called The Sideline Project Course! The competition will run from March 3rd to April 14th, 2025.

Even though this initiative is led by the Girls Academy League, the course is relevant to all soccer parents.

It's not mandatory, but we are asking ALL parents at our club to take the course in order to create a better sideline atmosphere at SJEB FC games and to educate your-self and reflect on how your behavior affects your player.

To participate:

  1. Go to https://leader.thesidelineproject.com/girls-academy
  2. Fill out the registration form and click on “Take the Course”
  3. Once you have registered for the course, your first name and our Club name will be posted to the Pledge Wall found at the bottom of the page.
  4. Check back throughout the competition to see the progress of each club and how many of our families are taking the Pledge to improve the gameday experiences for everyone.
  5. You will only receive credit for the course if you complete it.

With your help, we will be able to significantly support our efforts to positively influence the gameday environments for our players, referees, coaches and all spectators.

Together, we can be part of positive change in youth sport and a leader of change in the soccer community.

We are fully committed to providing the best soccer experience for our players and we can't wait to see them all enjoying the game they love this season.

The Girls Academy League clubs with the highest percentages of parents completing the course will win prizes, including a grand prize camera package from VEO worth $4,000!

The competition runs until April 14th.
