SJEB FC 90/91 BOYS

"WHERE ARE THEY NOW?"

Rob Nowlan - Hammonton HS & Lehigh University & Dickinson College
Rob was a tough tackling right back, who was a great communicator and leader on the field, because of this he was Team Captain. Rob graduated from Dickinson College with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Biological Sciences. Rob is the Northeast Sales Director at Benefit Bank Distributors, and previously worked for Lincoln Financial Group, True Financial Services and Omnicare. he recently got married.


Kevin Curran - Ocean City HS & Loyola College (MD) & St Joseph University.

Kevin was a cultured lefty who got forward and created chances. 

Kevin graduated from Loyola College with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist. He then obtained a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy/Therapist at St Joseph University. He is an Occupational Therapist, OTR/L at Atlantic County Special Services School District. Kevin is married and still plays soccer in the CASA league. 


Giancarlo Granese - Ocean City HS & La Salle University.

‘Jonny’ was a creative #10 who pulled the strings in the hole. After graduating from LaSalle he returned to Ocean City to help run the family business. Giancarlo is the Managing Director of Shoresiding in Ocean City, he is Married with a child and is heavily involved in soccer as the General Manager of the Ocean City Nor’Easters USL2 team. 


Glenroy Chapman - St Augustine Prep & La Salle University.

“Junior” Chapman graduated from La Salle with a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies with minors in history and education. He is heavily involved in the soccer community as a coach at Widener University Men’s Soccer as well as club soccer for Nether United in PA. He is married with two children. 


Austin Johnson - Lower Cape May HS & La Salle University & York College of PA

Austin got his Bachelor;s Degree in Marketing at York College of PA. He worked for OneMain Financial, The Bluebook Building and Construction Network, Dodge Construction network and is currently a Senior Partnerships Executive for Niche. Austin is still involved in soccer, running Next Level Soccer small group training and coaches for Cape Express Soccer Club. Austin is married with two young children.


Alex Weidman - Mainland Regional High School & Monmouth University

Alex was a quick, pacey, technical striker. After graduating from Monmouth with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. He got a job as a Physical Education Teacher at Mainland Regional High School, he also coaches their Boy’s Soccer team. Alex recently got married. 





Kameron Teel - Gloucester Catholic HS, La Salle University & Immaculate College

A lightning quick, direct winger and goal scorer in his day. Kameron is a now a Teacher, and since leaving college game he took up competitive Judo. Kameron has two children. 


Michael Bryan - Shawnee HS & St. Joseph's University

Michael earned a Bachelor of Business Admin in Finance at St Joe’s then earned a Masters of Business Administration at UNC Chapel Hill. He worked for ARI as Director of Client relations; he now works as a Director - Service Transformation at Holman in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry who’s HQ is in Mt Laurel.


Joseph D’Ascenzo - Holy Cross University & Villanova School of Law

Joe got a BA in History and Italian from Holy Cross University and J.D in law from Villanova School of Law. Joe currently works as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. 

Caleb Garza - Ocean City HS & Connecticut College

Caleb studied Mathematics at Connecticut College where he was a nationally ranked Squash player. He is a Business Analyst for LifeWorks. Caleb is married and now lives in Austin, Texas and has just had their first child. 


Matthew Schofiet - Shawnee HS, Cornell University & University of Florida.

Matt graduated Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics followed on with a Masters in Education from the University of Florida. He has worked as a Math & Physics teacher in Florida and now as a Science Teacher and Co-Director for the Center for Innovation and Design at the Friends Central School in PA. 


Ryan Finley - Rancocas Valley HS, Duke University & Notre Dame University.

Ryan earned a degree in Sociology from Notre Dame. He has recently enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and works for Bessemer Trust Wealth Management organization. Ryan played a couple of Super Y League seasons for SJ Barons, he then attend the US Soccer National Residency soccer program at IMG. He spent 6 years as a pro in the MLS with Columbus Crew & Chivas USA then a two year spell in Sweden. 

Blake Fink - Rancocas Valley HS & Lafayette College

Blake played for our Super Y-League team over the summer season. He Graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in Government and Law, then achieved a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University School of Law. Blake is an Associate at the Blank of Rome LLP. 



Jake McPaul - St Augustine Prep & St Joseph’s University

Jake graduated from St Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Business Admin in Food Marketing. He has worked as Logistics Manager for Blue Apron, Misfits Market, Small Hold and is now Head of Refrigerated Operations and Product at WARP.



Clayton Harper - Ocean City HS & Rowan University

Clayton graduated from Rowan University with a Criminal Justice degree and has put his studying to good use as he is now a police officer in his home town of Ocean City. 




Kevin Davis - Highland Regional HS & Monmouth University

Kevin graduated from Monmouth University with an Education degree and is currently a teacher at Atlantic City High School. Alex and Kevin remain very close friends from their time at Monmouth U and Kevin was Best Man at Alex’s wedding this past summer. 





Cory Hennessy - Ocean City HS & Wesley College

Cory was a wiry winger in his time, and also a brilliant surfer. It was never in doubt that Cory would go on to help run the Family business of Heritage Surf and Sport who have 4 shops in Margate, Ocean City, and Sea Isle City.





Andrew D'Ottavi - Ocean City HS & St Joseph University

Andrew was a tall rangy goalkeeper. He graduated from St Joes with a Food Marketing Degree. He now works for United States Liability Insurance Group as an Underwriter.







Max Mittelman - Mainland Regional HS & UNC Wilmington

Max was a rock solid defender with great fitness. He went onto run Cross Country for UNC Wilmington and Majored in Teaching. He works as a Speech Language Pathologist at Egg Harbor Township High School. Max is married and lives in Ventnor and still works as a lifeguard in the summer.



Kyle Shaw - Washington TWP HS - High Point University

Kyle was a creative midfielder, he attended High Point University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Then attended Temple University and earned his podiatric medical degreen and completed his residency at Virtua. Kyle now works as a Resident Physician at Virtua Health. Kyle recently got married and lives in TWP.

2024 SJEB FC 4v4 Summer League Registration NOW OPEN! More Touches. Improve Skill. Build Confidence. Small-sided soccer is an important component to youth skill development, and 4v4 with SJEB FC is the perfect way to experience all the action. A fast paced game with more touches and involvement from every player on the field results in improved individual skills and ultimately a MORE confident soccer player. The Perfect Game Plan Come out and enjoy the action. Each seven-player team will participate in two games each night. Games will be two 18-minute halves with a two-minute half time. Referees are provided. And there will be PLENTY of parking!
